This is an english translation of Shamaa'il at-Tirmidhi. 

It includes an Introduction to the sciences of Hadith and a sketch life of the four Imams (Abu Hanifah, Malik, Shafi'i & Hanbal).

The Commentary is simply a Classification of the Hadith and references (in the other books of Hadith)
